The design is inspired by the weathered flint stone walling that is a common sight along the Kent coastline. The ancient technique produces a highly tactile surface, echoed in the scalloped surfaces of the Bradstow table, all painstakingly handcarved.

Available in a choice of native British timbers including, but not limited to oak, ash, elm and London plane.

The MASON bar stool was one of the first production items made at Knot Design. It’s slender frame belies great strength and comfort. The seat is woven from danish cord, available in either natural or black, without the use of any metal fasteners that may snag clothing. The elegant design complements many types of interior. The seat height of 73cm is perfect for the majority of kitchen bar tops but can be customised through our enquiry form.

IVER is the perfect side table to nestle alongside your favourite armchair. Small but perfectly formed with playfully turned scalloped legs. The 30cm top Is enough room for a book and a mug of tea.

The legs are attached to the top using traditional wedged through-tenons, giving both aesthetic interest In the top and the strength and longevity to last several lifetimes.

The table is offered as standard in a choice of oak or blackened ash timbers (which can be found here), but can be made in a timber of your choosing by selecting the custom order request.

A custom version of our very popular Avery design. This table has an elongated lozenge form, standing at 40cm high with the top stretching 100cm x 60cm. The signature “draped rope” rail extends at floor level across the two fixed legs. The tabletop is constructed from pippy oak which has been sympathetically patched to stabilise some of the larger knots, giving the tabletop and unique character.
